Since 1976 Alonzo has maintained one of the lowest industry turnover rates in the Bay Area. Our 60 employees have an average tenure of 11 years, and are 28% female, 72% male, 53% Hispanic, 12% Asian, 5% African American and 30% Caucasian.
Alonzo is a union shop. New employees are trained by the best in the industry. And every employee has continuing education opportunities from on the job training to technical courses in file management, color, conventional and digital print, direct mail and database technologies. We make sure every person in every position has the opportunity to grow his or her knowledge.
At the same time, Alonzo has grown to be one of the premier print communication companies in the region. That’s no coincidence.
In fact, customers think of us as more than a printer; they call us communication consultants. It’s a label we like because it describes our approach so succinctly. We see ourselves as partners, not vendors. Because of this, we take our responsibility to creative problem-solving very seriously. Whether you’re new to the print communications field or an old pro, we make it our business to work with you toward providing simple, economical and environmentally sound solutions.
Our hands-on customer service and extensive online tools provide customers with the know-how to make their projects come to life. We’re committed to getting the best results for your project. We know that if we do this we will have a partnership that will last a long time!
Because we are all part of the Bay Area we always consider the environmental costs of our actions. Making responsible decisions towards the environment means that our community and our surroundings will stay beautiful and clean.
